STAMPED: Racism, Antiracism, and You

by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi (nee Henry Rodgers)

Ibram Kendi's STAMPED is remarkable only in that this modern-day race hustler has managed to promote it in many public (and private) "But-We-Don't-Teach-Critical-Race-Theory" school systems nationwide. As with other Woke/Marxist screeds, it's purpose is to dredge up unsavory items from the nation's past for the purpose of pitting [racial] classes against one another -- in the Leninist model. Kendi clearly states his purpose in his Afterward chapter thusly: "I hope it's clear how the construct of race has always been used to keep and gain power, whether financially or politically." -- precisely what he's trying to perpetuate.

According to Kendi, America is irredeemably evil, and today's deplorable Whites must feel forever guilty and do penance for the nation's past sins, while Blacks can be "anti-racist" only if they remain wards of the state. To "act White" by achieving individual greatness in the manner of Thomas Sowell or Dr. Ben Carson is unforgivable, as was Bill Cosby's critique of Black parenting in 2004.

Forcing school students to read such drivel should be consider a form of "child abuse". Parents should read this and hold their school system accountable.

AFTERWARD

HOW DO you feel? I mean, I hope after reading this not history history book, you're left with some answers. I hope it's clear how the construct of race has always been used to keep and gain power, whether financially or politically. How it has always been used to create dynamics that separate us to keep us quiet. To keep the ball of White and rich privilege rolling. And that's not woven into people as much as it's woven into policy that people adhere to and believe is truth.
